CURRENT RELEASE

In Dec 2025 Coco released a moody, playful cover of "You're A Mean One, Mr Grinch," in collaboration with alt-rock band the Lily Dippers.

The collaboration blends CocoLarosa’s warm folk grit with The Lily Dippers’ jangly indie-rock energy, giving the classic a nostalgic twist that feels modern and edgy!

Hailing from Surrey BC, CocoLarosa is a folk singer/songwriter specializing in rhythmically bombastic and lyrically driven storytelling. His music is enjoyed by fans of Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and John Moreland.

“I speak directly from the heart of my life experiences to stir up emotion and connect with people in all walks of life.” says Coco.

He is a CMI supported artist, and regularly performs showcases and at festivals across the lower mainland. Highlights include winning the Fraser Valley Music Awards 'People's Choice Award' two years running (2024/2025), and being nominated for the FVMA 2025 Singer/Songwriter of the year.
CocoLarosa is a marine mechanic by day, and troubadour of unquestionable dexterity in the verbal arena by night.

- Russ Rosen, Artistic Director at Bez Arts Hub 2024

"From the first gutsy growl I was hooked as CocoLarosa spewed a melodic rant about his fellow shipyard workers and their tall tales on the Fraser River. Some of CocoLarosa’s songs are like mini operas with mythical characters and dubious motives, and others are rapid pace political tirades of epic proportion."
